Buspar anxiety medication & anxiety treatment is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders or for the short term relief of anxiety. The Buspar anxiety medication & anxiety treatment mechanism of action is unknown but it may act through a modulation effect on brain serotonin receptors. Buspar anxiety medication & anxiety treatment differs from typical benzodiazepines like Vallium or Xanax anti-anxiety medication in that Buspar anxiety medication & anxiety treatment does not exert anti-seizure or muscle relaxant effects. It also lacks the prominent sedative effect that is associated with benzodiazepines.

DOSAGE
Initially - 15 mg daily in two divided doses to a maximum of 60 mg/day.
